Location and directions

The Vision Splendid self contained homestead and retreat is located 8km from Beechworth in North-Eastern Victoria. It is an easy three hour drive from Melbourne along the Hume Freeway.

Directions
Head North from Melbourne on the Hume Freeway. As you approach Wangaratta you will see signs directing you to Beechworth. Stay on the Hume Freeway until you turn off at the Beechworth and Great Alpine Road exit sign.

From the Freeway exit road turn right along the Great Alpine Road. Follow it for approx. 7 km then take the left turnoff to Beechworth. This road will take you all the way into historic Beechworth.

Once in Beechworth turn right at the roundabout (there's only one) and with the Post Office on your left continue down about 500m. Look for the double story Beechworth Gallery building with the red and white stripe roof and turn right here onto the Myrtleford road (Kerferd Road). Follow this bitumen road for 7km. At Fighting Gully Road (opposite Lady Newton Drive) turn right and follow it for about 800m. Turn left into Ryan Lane and travel 700m to the edge of escarpment where you can turn left into The Vision Splendid.
